You will:

  • Carry out reactive and planned preventive maintenance across the facility.
  • Perform general repairs including patching, painting, replacing globes, and basic building maintenance.
  • Responsible for gardening and grounds upkeep to maintain a welcoming and safe environment.
  • Work alongside contractors, ensuring all work meets compliance standards.
  • Ensure all documentation, system processes, and paperwork are completed accurately.
  • Support best practice initiatives to maintain homes to the highest standard.
  • Engage with residents respectfully and positively as part of daily interactions.

About you:

  • Previous experience in maintenance and gardening (preferred).
  • Trade Qualifications
  • A current driver’s licence.
  • Understanding of correct manual handling procedures.
  • Familiarity with aged care principles and resident engagement.
  • General computer skills.
